Lykantropi Releases New Single/Video for “Kom ta mig ut” From Forthcoming Album, Tales to Be Told.

Swedish psych/occult rockers Lykantropi have released yet another single from their forthcoming Tales To Be Told Full-Length which will be released on November 6th Via Despotz Records.  “Kom ta mig ut” which, in English, translates to “Come Take Me Out.”  The song is accompanied by a beautifully haunting video featuring lead vocalist My Shaolin and vocalist/guitarist Martin Ostlund.

After picking up their two albums, 2017’s Lykantropi and 2019’s Spirituosa I longed for more and more.  This year, the band released two other singles, “Coming Your Way” and “Summernights.”  Both songs were absolutely stellar but “Kom ta mig ut” is that sweet spot that I feel personifies just what Lykantropi is all about as a band.  Since hearing them earlier this year, I became (and still am) obsessed with everything about this band.

Another thing about Lykantropi is that they have mesmerized me with their lush instrumentation and the dark, oft times occult laden lyrical matter. Lykantropi’s music has elements of the ’60s Laurel Canyon scene like that of the Mamas and the Papas combined with the heady, psychedelic, darker sound of the Jefferson Airplane.  They are the perfect blend of upbeat, dark, brooding, and beautiful with songs that are suited for whatever mood you may find yourself in.
