Spilling the Beans: James LaBrie Announces Headlining Show for ProgPower USA in September, 2018.

In a recent Facebook Live chat session, Dream Theater vocalist James LaBrie spilled the beans that he will be one of the headliners of the 2018 ProgPower USA festival in Atlanta, GA. In the video, LaBrie says:

“If the solo album is released in 2018, I’ve already been talking to the guys about doing a tour behind it. I know that we’re booked to play in 2018 at the ProgPower down in Atlanta so we’re going to headline there one of the days. I can’t remember the exact date so we’re going to do that… the solo band.”

ProgPower USA rosters aren’t ever revealed until the the end of the festival so this is a pretty major spill for the event. This year’s festival saw one of it’s least exciting line-ups to date but still managed to sell out. With LaBrie as headliner next year, this should really make for an interesting and much more exciting festival.
