Award-winning documentary filmmaker Sam Dunn recently posted some great interview clips recent featuring the metal legend himself, King Diamond! Sam Dunn was awesome enough to share these awesome clips with us just in time for Halloween week:
“What better time than Halloween to spotlight the master of the macabre: King Diamond! He’s always been one of our favourite interviews and so we have two videos with the singer for you this week—one Raw and Uncut from the vaults and a brand new Metal Giants we shot at Mayhem this summer. King Diamond kicks off his Abigail Live North American tour today with Exodus!”
The first clip is King Diamond interviewed by Sam Dunn at his home in Texas in 2010 for the TV series Metal Evolution about his love of horror, the crazy rumours about his life, and his signature falsetto. This extended interview excerpt is presented raw and uncut, with new director’s commentary.
In the 2nd clip, King Diamond talks about why he loves to shock his audience, how he’s feeling since his near-death, and geeking out over Rush and Captain Beyond.
