Rock legend David Gilmour’s website popped up the other day after a post via his official Facebook page showing nothing but a cryptic photo. What does it mean? Well, we do know that Gilmour has been in the studio for a while now working on his first new release since 2015’s Rattle That Lock.
Gilmour has been photographed quite a bit by his wife/collaborator Polly Samson for social media platforms. Photos show Gilmour looking like he’s having the time of his life in the studio with long time bassist Guy Pratt, Steve Gadd, and daughter Romany Gilmour just to name a few.
So what is this album going to be like? Well, we can only hope that it’ll be better than Rattle That Lock. Regardless, I’m sure it’s not going to suck and hopefully we can anticipate a North American tour.
