Dream Theater Keyboardist Jordan Rudess to Join the Dixie Dregs For Their 2024 Tour

Dream Theater keyboardist Jordan Rudess is a busy kid.  When he’s not touring the world with Dream Theater (or sitting in for Don Airey in Deep Purple), Jordan can be found on any of his social media platforms doing lessons, live performances, and interacting with fans from all over.  And when you thought he could do no more, Jordan is also working on some of his amazing iOs music apps like the music/visual Vythm and the groundbreaking synth app Geoshred as well.  Jordan is a busy fucking guy but his 2024 is about to get even busier.

Via his official Facebook page, Jordan just announced that he will be joining Prog Rock legends Dixie Dregs on their upcoming 2024 tour.  Jordan had this to say about the tour:

I can finally share the news that I’ll be joining the Dixie Dregs on their 2024 tour.  I’m excited to share the stage with some of my favorite musicians with whom I have a special history. Back in 1994, I was offered the keyboard spot in both the Dregs AND Dream Theater the same month. I ended up going on tour with the Dregs since I had a newborn daughter at home and, at that time, Dream Theater was going out on long runs (none of them had kids yet).  The first tour leg is on sale now. More dates coming!”

This is going to be an awesome tour without a doubt and I can’t wait to figure out which show I’ll be catching.  Below are the dates that have been confirmed.  As Jordan said, keep your eyes open as there are more dates to come.
