2022: The Year in Interviews

So you may ask yourself, why are you just now posting your year end interview recap?  And you may say to yourself, this is not my beautiful wife!  Ok, enough of the terrible Talking Heads puns. I figured since the interwebs would be flooded with lists, why not be a rebel and just post it right after the New Year?  Well, I’m curious to see if this even makes a difference but we’ll see.

2022 was a pretty bad ass year of interviews for me.  I had a few returning guests as well as some amazing first time guests.  One of the highlights of my year was getting the opportunity to talk with former Black Sabbath vocalist Tony Martin.  I couldn’t have asked for a nicer, more humble guest.  He was such a great person to talk to and I learned so much about his time before, during, and after Black Sabbath.  I talked to NYC jazz legend (yes, she’s a legend in my mind) Rebecca Martin about the music of her past and present and even took a deep turn into discussing life in general.  Getting to talk with newer artists that I had just discovered such as Wilma Nea, Proper Pet, and Hellsingland Underground were great additions to the podcast and they were all reminders of why I love talking to artists so much.

Did you catch these interviews?  Did you miss some?  Did you miss all of them?  Well, fear not.  They are all listed below for you.  I hope you’ll enjoy them all!
