Rosalie Cunningham Forced to Cancel Shows Due to Illness. Rescheduled Dates Announced with More to Follow.

Former Purson leader Rosalie Cunningham has announced a string of rescheduled dates for her current tour supporting her 2nd solo release Two Piece Puzzle. The cancellations come in the wake of Rosalie suddenly developing a serious cold the week before the tour during rehearsals, leading to a complete loss of her voice.

On what would’ve been the first day of the tour, Rosalie announced via her official Facebook page:

I am devastated to have to share this news with you this morning. I have lost my voice and will be unable to play tonight in Newcastle and potentially not for the next couple of nights of the tour also. I will update this post with more info ASAP!! I am SO, SO SORRY. Rosco (partner/guitarist) has been a busy bee trying to wrangle all the balls that have been thrown up into the air today.

I’m sorry to leave this to the 11th hour, but I was holding out hope to be recovered by the end of the day. Unfortunately, I feel like death, and my voice still sounds like an asthmatic donkey, and trying to sing through it would be as painful for you guys as it would be. Thank you SO much for all of your heartfelt comments and messages. They have meant so much to me. Please know that if there were a way we could have made this work, we would have done it. I really need to be back to 100% so that we can give you the show you deserve.
Coughs and splutters,
Rosalie x

On March 24th, Roscoe released an update on Rosalie’s condition and the rescheduled dates of the tour so far.

Really sorry to have to announce this, but Rosalie is still in a bad way. So, unfortunately, now we have had to reschedule Newcastle, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Manchester, Wolverhampton, and Stockton.

New dates are

Manchester April 27th

Wolverhampton April 29th

Stockton TBC

Glasgow October 23rd

Edinburgh October 24th

Newcastle October 26th

All tickets will still be valid
Ticket links will be updated asap on rosaliecunningham.com
Again, apologies, it really sucks, but we’ll see you all soon.

I wish Rosalie a quick and painless recovery, and I know that all of her fans will send her nothing but the best of wishes. Shit happens, so send her some love, and she will see y’all out there soon enough.
Get better, Rosie! xoxo
