Deal Is In the Works for Re-Issues of Tony Martin Era Black Sabbath Albums

On January 18th, former Black Sabbath vocalist Tony Martin posted a short but sweet post on his official Facebook page.  The post was regarding the long anticipated re-issues of the Tony Martin era Black Sabbath albums:

So I got a call from Tony Iommi’s manager.  It seems there is now a record deal for my era of Sabbath albums !!!  So it looks like a re-issue is actually going to happen!!! ? There could be a LOT of “Tony Martin” around this year! …. Sorry about that!

This is very exciting news for Tony Martin era fans because since the launch of streaming services, none of those albums have been available.  The only album from his era that appears on Spotify and other platforms is The Eternal Idol.  There have been a great deal of Black Sabbath re-issues even in form of boxsets for albums like Technical Ecstasy, Sabotage and even the Ronnie James Dio releases, Heaven & Hell and Mob Rules.  As a long time Martin fan, I am incredibly psyched to see what the re-releases will hold for us.  Box set?  Vinyl releases with extra tracks.  Either way, just take my fucking money!  This has been a long time coming.

More news on this as it becomes available.
