Lucifer Releases “Midnight Phantom” From the Forthcoming Album Lucifer III.

European groove rockers Lucifer has released a new song from their forthcoming album, Lucifer III.  Lucifer not long ago wrapped up a very successful North American tour packing in clubs all over the country.  Lucifer III will be the band’s third release (obviously) and this song shows how Lucifer has transformed into a band that has broken the mold that many thought they were poured into.  With each album, Lucifer leader Johanna Sadonis seems to re-invent herself and with Lucifer III it sounds like Lucifer just have found home.

“Midnight Phantom” is very reminiscent of Blue Oyster Cult and ads yet another layer of influence that Lucifer is very proud to express in their songs.  It’s so nice to see that Lucifer continues to evolve and grow with each album and judging from this song, Lucifer III just may be a contender for one of my top albums of 2020.
