In these dark times, it’s always incredibly moving to see artists stepping up and doing what they can to offer aid to those in need the best they can. KADAVAR have never been shy about letting their voices be known in the midst of political insanity and this time is no different. Kadavar recently announced via their official Facebook page that guitarist/vocalist Lupus Lindemann is auctioning off one of his most prized guitars to raise money for Ukrainian Relief.Our hearts are with all the brave Ukrainian people who have to defend themselves, their homes or have to take their families to safety right now. And also with all Russians who oppose this senseless war.
To show our solidarity and to help in this humanitarian crisis, we chose to put up a very special item up for auction to raise money so we can donate all proceedings to „Ukraine-Hilfe Berlin e.V.“
In the last 10 years, this guitar has been played by Lupus at literally every show around the globe and he recorded almost every song with it.
We think it is safe to say that if there is one symbol for all the times we spent together, everything we’ve been through, but also for the freedom and privilege to do what we love, it is this guitar.
