Lykantropi Releases Third Single “Axis of Margaret” from Forthcoming Tales to be Told.

Swedish psychedelic occult rockers Lykantropi have released the third single from their album Tales to be Told which will be released via Despotz Records on November 6th.  The song is called “Axis of Margaret” and it is another in a long line of mesmerizing stories set to hauntingly melancholy music with a Peter Green era Fleetwood Mac vibe.  This song is more than just a “story.”  It’s a song of a life truly lived by a family member of bassist Tomas Eriksson.

Eriksson says,  “It is to some extent about when I found my mother dead and how surreal it was. It is about seeing how the person who once was your security merely becoming a shell and losing its soul. It is partly about the intense grieving, but also about the sorrow that she actually disappeared twenty years earlier when my father passed away. Her grief devoured her, it took away her meaning and made her an alcoholic in denial. Her name was Margareta and she was the shoulder of the family. At one point, at least.”
