Portland based metal titans Christian Mistress are back. They’re alive! Yes indeed and from what I hear, they have a new guitarist in tow and the fire is still there and burning more intensely than ever before. When I interviewed singer/songwriter Christine Davis (Read it here) she assured me that the band was only laying low for a little bit, reevaluating some things and that they would indeed be back. Well, she kept her word and Christian Mistress has announced three West Coast shows. The shows are as followed:
Olympia, Washington 12-12-2013 – Cryptatropa
Seattle, Washington 12-13-2013 – The Black Lodge
Portland, Oregon 12-14-2013 – Rotture
I can’t even begin to say just how fucking pumped I am to have Christian Mistress back in the fold. I can only hope that after these shows we will be hearing some new music and maybe even seeing a more extensive tour. Christian Mistress is a band that the metal world needs to have. This band is so full of life, fire, and passion and I can only imagine what we will be hearing from this band in the future.
