""Judas Priest have announced the dates of their upcoming North American tour which will kick off on October 12 in San Antonio, Texas and conclude on November 18 in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The Priest camp announced this year that legendary guitarist K.K. Downing had retired from the band. They announced that he would be replaced by 31 year old British guitarist Richie Faulkner. This news was met with a lot less backlash than I expected to be honest as he was a crucial and original member. I’m totally supportive of Priest carrying on and moving forward though. As for the tour, I’m still trying to figure out if this is actually a “farewell tour” or if they are just riding it out. Joining Priest on this tour will be Thin Lizzy and Black Label Society. First off, unless Phil Lynott has returned from the dead, I can’t even believe these clowns are prancing around calling themselves Thin Lizzy. Sorry, off my soapbox and as for Black Label Society, I could do without them as well. I’d really love to see Judas Priest again as it’s been forever. I see that there’s no Atlanta date so a big ass raspberry to those guys. Hopefully they’ll add some more dates.
