It was a loss that made a huge dent in the face of heavy metal but Dio&#8217;s presence in death is as strong and bold as it was in life.  Wife and manager Wendy Dio launched the Stand Up And Shout Fund (which benefits cancer research) to honor the late Ronnie James Dio and has been doing a lot to keep the great singer\u2019s legacy alive.<\/p>\n<p>While on hand for the Revolver Golden Gods Award Show press conference, Wendy Dio revealed to Noisecreep that artists like Rob Halford, Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters), Lemmy Kilmister and Glen Hughes (Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Black Country Communion) are already confirmed to appear on a new tribute album. She also claims that she had just talked to Alice Cooper, Sebastian Bach, and WWE wrestler Chris Jericho during the press conference about appearing on the album as well.<\/p>\n<p>While she doesn\u2019t expect the album to be out by this year, Mrs. Dio claims that most of the artists already have a song picked to sing. Halford will reportedly sing the Rainbow classic \u201cLong Live Rock N\u2019Roll,\u201d while Grohl will be tackling the Black Sabbath hit \u201cMob Rules.\u201d Alice Cooper apparently also showed interest in singing a song from Elf (Dio\u2019s band prior to Rainbow). It\u2019s going to be exciting to hear not only Dio\u2019s colleges\/fellow metal gods, but also to hear \u201cyounger\u201d\/more \u201cmainstream\u201d artists like Grohl paying tribute to the late legend as well.
