The Niji Entertainment Group has quite a few great things up their sleeves but before you jump to conclusions, they aren’t just trying to “cash in” on Dio after his death. Many of the upcoming releases from Niji were in the works while Dio was alive and well but unfortunately didn’t see the light of day while he was still with us. Niji has plans to open a brand new Dio store where they will have vinyl re-issues, t-shirts and other merchandise.<\/p>\n

The first release from Niji first will be a 2 CD Live Dio of unreleased shows from 1983 and 1987 and is due to hit stores on November 9th. The release will mark the first time these performances have been officially released and I couldn’t be more pumped about it.\u00a0 I’ve heard bootlegs of the 1987 Donnington performance which had Dio supporting “Dream Evil” and it was stellar.\u00a0 It’s going to be really awesome to hear it such amazing quality.<\/p>\n

The track listing for this release hasn’t been made public yet but here are the set lists from both Donnington performances:<\/p>\n
