GSW) was the cream of the crop.\u00a0 GSW are veterans of the &#8217;90s Jam Band area coming up along side <strong>Blues Traveler,<\/strong> <strong>Spin Doctors, Dave Matthews Band, and Phish<\/strong> to name a few.\u00a0 Based on the musical and artistic merit alone, I thought that GSW should&#8217;ve been as big as their peers including Phish (who I thought GSW was far superior to).<\/p>\n<p>GSW released some of my favorite albums of the era including the absolutely perfect $1.99 Romances.\u00a0 In 2019 GSW released This Fine Town which was a modern recording of some of the old fan favorites that never saw proper release.\u00a0 Songs such as &#8220;6:15&#8221;, &#8220;Cheap Utah Blues&#8221;, and &#8220;Stupid Hat&#8221; were so awesome to hear in a studio setting.\u00a0 This is the kind of thing a GSW fan (or of any band for that matter) would&#8217;ve died for back in the day so it was awesome to see GSW do this for themselves and the fan.<\/p>\n<p>So what is all of this leading up to?\u00a0 Well, some of the best and worst news of 2023.\u00a0 The best: God Street Wine have announced that they will be doing two shows in 2023.\u00a0 The Worst: I can&#8217;t go to these shows.\u00a0 That aside, here are the dates:<\/p>\n<p><strong>September 30, 2023<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>New York City, NY<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>The Cutting Room<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ticketweb.com\/event\/god-street-wine-max-verna-cutting-room-tickets\/13283828?pl=cegpresents&amp;edpPlParam=%3Fpl%3Dcegpresents\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CLICK HERE FOR TICKET SITE<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>===========================================<\/p>\n<p><strong>October 1, 2023<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Woodstock, NY<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Leven Helm&#8217;s Studio<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tixr.com\/groups\/levonhelm\/events\/god-street-wine-73436\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>CLICK HERE FOR TICKET SITE<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>One can hope that these shows will maybe lead to an East Coast tour?
