<\/p>\nToday is a day of celebration of the birth of Ronnie James Dio.\u00a0 From his early days as a doo-wop singer in Ronnie & The Prophets to fronting legendary bands Elf, Rainbow, Black Sabbath, and as DIO, Ronnie James Dio was, and still is, a source of inspiration.\u00a0 Ronnie was the guy that spoke for us; the lost generation.\u00a0 We were the last in line, we were lost children of the sea, and we were his Rock N’ Roll children.\u00a0 Even if you never got to know Ronnie personally, whenever I listened to him I felt as if he was in my mind and in my heart.\u00a0 Ronnie knew what I was going through and he was a voice of strength, hope, and assurance that regardless of the shit I was going through as a kid, I would break the chains and I would become my own person.<\/p>\n
Ronnie James Dio not only left behind and extensive musical legacy but he left behind words of wisdom that I still go back to and read from time to time.\u00a0 In this post I have included some of my favorite Ronnie James Dio quotes.\u00a0 May you find inspiration in them as I have.<\/p>\n
