I have been waiting anxiously for Horizons<\/strong><\/em>, the follow up to their self titled 2011 masterpiece.\u00a0 It was supposed to be out but then all of the sudden, nothing.\u00a0 What’s up with that Anubis Gate?\u00a0 Well, being the fine, upstanding chaps they are, Anubis Gate decided give us all something for hanging in there.\u00a0 The band had this to say:<\/p>\n Hi everybody. As most of you know we have been working on our next effort called\u00a0HORIZONS for the last two years. But, as some of you also know, we are insane\u00a0perfectionists, so we didn\u2019t quite meet the deadline for a 2013 release, which was our plan\u00a0otherwise. When we recorded HORIZONS we had these three tracks that we didn\u2019t quite\u00a0know what to do with. A slightly different version of DESTINED TO REMEMBER (the other\u00a0version will be on the HORIZONS album), A cover of the epic PINK FLOYD track SHEEP\u00a0(from their magnificent Animals album) and a cover of BROKEN WINGS originally by Mr.\u00a0Mister. BROKEN WINGS was actually a fan request, which we thought \u201coh, that\u2019s a great\u00a0idea\u201d. So while you are all waiting patiently until early 2014 for the HORIZONS album to\u00a0be released, this is a little present from us to you. We hope you enjoy it.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n
